It breaks my heart to hear again this morning that another local business my family is loyal to is going out of business. Take a break from your day today and go to your favorite local business and support them. Buy something even if its just a bag of dried apricots. You help make a difference in your community.

The Parking Ticket Project has been a great success! (heres a few for you to peek at :D)

A GIANT thank you to the whole lot of you for your support and interest in the project—I’ve been having so much fun making these illustrations. That having been said and my tickets all paid, I’m going to continue accepting submissions for the project just for fun. There may be a bit of a delay as I catch up with all the submissions I’ve received so far, but it’ll get to you I promise! The extra fee for international mail still stands. Thanks again you’re all so great!!!

Hi All—-So I’ve got a proposition for you. Seems the Grand Rapids parking attendants are following me…..they must know I’m the new kid in town. So I’ve got a few of these neon yellow bad boys stacking up and man oh man are they expensive. Solution: Let’s pay these bastards off—fight city hall with creativity. To make the money to pay these,I’m going to be offering 5in x 7in illustrations of your choice for $10 each. You send me ONE word  and I’ll make you an illustration based on that. my entry for this weeks theme on The Pen Pals blog.

a sliding finish for this week’s theme Make Believe. Lately I’m super into anything Nordic. The folklore especially make me so happy. This is something I started awhile ago as an after work doodle and now seemed like a great time to finish it.
